From the nomadic animals roaming the wild kingdom to the love of a domestic pet, we love our animals. Seeing the deer roaming through the neighborhood in North Carolina is exciting, bringing a pep of wonder and amazement back in our step. Something changes in us, bringing respect and an ounce of faith to a different level.
Every country has roaming animals that live outside of the towns and villages. In Spain, we found wild boar walking through nearby fields, searching for their daily food; meanwhile, in Colorado, a bear stepped into a local city to see what it could find for entertainment. Swinging on the backyard porch swing, it sat there, watching neighborhood cars drive by like it was on a movie screen just for them to see.
The idea of snakes and rodents as domestic pets can send chills up some people’s spines, while others name them and keep them close at home. The roommate obsessed with cats gives one cupboard for food to the newcomer, while the cats have three empty ones to sprawl out and observe your every move.

Our domestic pets can have wardrobes larger than their owners, enjoying dress-up time or a stroll in a pet stroller walking down the block.
Each of Mother Nature’s creatures are special, especially our home pets. Our fur families, filling the home with tail-wagging and meow-talk conversations, bring companionship to those who live life alone. Meanwhile, training a golden retriever not only to close drawers with its nose, but also to help the blind walk across the street is a life-changing endeavor worth discussing.
Whether we find roving animals locally or peering eyes under the bathroom door, they bring comfort to so many. Imagine giving love to a beautiful creature that gives it right back. Oh, if only every human did the same, could it be possible to live in harmony and peace?
